A flower pot cover woven in a spiral pattern on rolls of mizri grass, intertwined with narrow strands of dried and dyed date palm leaves.

The baskets are woven in two regions of Pakistan: in the southern parts of Peshawar and Punjab. These products are environmentally friendly - during the production of the baskets, no pollution is produced, and no waste is created.

Palm leaves are dyed before the weaving process, which is why making baskets with intricate, multi-coloured patterns is very time-consuming. The baskets are woven by hand, each piece may differ in small details: pattern, shade of colour or thickness of leaf stripes.
